After coming from behind to beat the Netherlands to secure a ticket to the EURO 2024 final, midfielder Jude Bellingham highly appreciated the team spirit.
The 2003-born star had a wonderful return to BVB Stadion Dortmund, when he and the England team defeated the Netherlands 2-1 to win a ticket to the EURO 2024 final. Speaking to BBC after the match, Jude Bellingham was delighted: “Last time I said the team would continue to fight in other matches. Another late goal and I’m really proud of my teammates.
To be honest, it would have been better to score the opening goal. When the Netherlands took the lead, we didn’t think we played badly, it was a very good finishing situation for them. Today, the whole team had a great reaction, spirit and mentality. Ability is one thing, but there are qualities that can’t be forged in training, they come from experience and between teammates.

“There is only one game left now. We are tired after a long season, but this is a big motivation for England to make history.”
The Real Madrid midfielder is also aware of the criticism levelled at the team: “It’s important that we stick together and win big games like this. These moments are great, they bring us together as a family and now England are in the final.
Spain are great and really strong. We will take time to recover and learn their style of play.”
